Become A Partner

As a Building Greater Exeter partner, organisations can benefit from opportunities to heighten the profile and visibility of their business with key target audiences and play an active role in shaping the future of Greater Exeter. As a partner, there will be opportunities to engage with clients, contractors, subcontractors, consultants and the supply chain, as well as CITB, training providers, JCP and supporting skills agencies. 

Heightened profile and visibility of organisations: 

  • Company logos will be used in Building Greater Exeter promotional materials including pop-up stands, presentation slides, website and socials 
  • Organisations will be actively promoted to key target audiences and stakeholders at events and briefings 
  • Organisations will be invited to present at events including, Exeter College Expo, National Apprenticeship week and other career opportunities 
  • Prioritisation for case study development 
  • Increased PR opportunities 
  • Increased opportunities for networking and access to social gatherings  
  • Access to keynote speakers and VIP guests at Building Greater Exeter and GCAP events 
  • Generate business opportunities. E.g. opportunities for education providers to recruit learners  
  • Recruitment support – prioritised help for promoting jobs and apprentice opportunities, invitations to attend recruitment events free of charge  
  • Direct access to engage with schools to help inspire the next generation to join the sector  

 

Play an active role in shaping the future of Building Greater Exeter: 

  • Inform the strategic direction of the sector skills partnership  
  • Get involved in delivering activities and events  
  • Working together as a partnership to help improve the image of the sector and to raise awareness of the opportunities  
  • Together, provide a single voice to government about skills in the sector  
  • Become a member of the Green Construction Advisory Panel (GCAP) and attend three events a year 

 

Increase opportunities for funding, contracts and training through association: 

  • Contribute to Social Value/ Corporate Social Responsibility agenda  
  • Be able to state engagement and investment in Building Greater Exeter when tendering locally and applying for funding 
  • Access prioritised, dedicated help for delivery of Employment and Skills Plans  
  • Communicate the skills demand to training providers 
  • Direct access to recruitment and training opportunities through Exeter College’s Apprenticeship Training and Recruitment Team 
  • Access to talent pools of aspiring Apprentices 

Partners will:

  • Consider investing in additional Building Greater Exeter sponsorship opportunities throughout the year. 
  • Attend Steering Group meetings participating in strategic discussions and planning sessions. 
  • Engage with regular communications. 
  • Share opportunities, including but not limited to, jobs, apprenticeships and training provision. 
  • Actively share knowledge, expertise and resources to support group activities and initiatives. 
  • Include Building Greater Exeter when tendering and applying for funding. 
  • Act as mentors to other members or apprentices, fostering networking and professional growth opportunities. 
  • Engage and be pro-active with the delivery of activities and attendance at events.  
  • Follow Building Greater Exeter social media channels and engage with related social posts. 
  • To act as an ambassador for Building Greater Exeter regularly promoting the groups mission within their networks, industry circles and at relevant events or conferences. 
  • Ensure that any data sharing or opportunities posted comply with GDPR regulations and industry best practices. 
  • Support the delivery of the Net Zero Exeter 2030 Plan.
