A real job, with hands-on experience and a salary – alongside industry standard training and a qualification.

Apprenticeships allow anyone over the age of 16 to kick-start a career in a job that suits their skills and interests, facilitate a career change, or progress in their current role.

Skills Bootcamps

These government-funded part-time courses are 10-16 weeks long and are available throughout the year.

They focus on developing practical skills for direct application to the workplace and consist of one day a week with our subject specialist lecturers. As part of your studies, you will develop a portfolio in your chosen field to clearly demonstrate your abilities to potential future employers.

T Levels

T Levels follow on from GCSEs and is the equivalent of three A Levels. T Levels combine classroom theory, practical learning and a three month industry placement to ensure students have the skills to thrive in the world of work. Over a two year course, T Levels aim to provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door to highly skilled employment, higher level study or an Apprenticeship.

Work Experience

The world of construction has so many roles to choose from, you may not know where to start. That’s where work experience can help. Work experience enables you to try many jobs and career paths before you decide on the one you want to embark on.
